Questions, answered

Quick answers about ordering, delivery, payments, returns, warranty and looking after your trailer.

Ordering

How do I place an order?

Browse our shop, add the trailer you want to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You can also request a custom quote from any product or contact page.

Can I request a custom trailer?

Yes. We offer custom sizing, layout, branding, and equipment options. Contact us with your requirements and we will prepare a tailored quote.

Is the price on the website the final price?

Listed prices include the standard build as described. Delivery, registration, optional extras, and customisation are quoted separately — and the delivery fee is confirmed to you in writing before you pay.

Can I see a trailer before I buy?

We sell remotely from a working build and dispatch yard — there is no walk-in showroom. Product pages carry real photos and full specifications of each build, and our sales team can talk through layouts, equipment and options on the phone or by email before you commit.

Can I change or cancel my order after paying?

You may request a no-fee cancellation within 48 hours of payment. After that, a custom-build cancellation may involve costs for materials and labour already committed — see the Return & Refund Policy for the full process. Statutory cancellation rights take precedence.

How do I get a quote or an invoice for finance?

Request a quote from any product page or the contact form. We can supply quotations and invoices you may submit to your preferred finance institution; we do not provide in-house financing.

Delivery

Do you deliver nationwide?

Yes. We arrange insured freight delivery across South Africa. Costs depend on distance and trailer size. We will confirm the delivery fee before you pay.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock trailers usually dispatch within 5-10 business days. Custom or made-to-order units typically take 4-8 weeks depending on complexity.

Do you offer collection, or can I visit the yard?

No. Our Bloemfontein facility is a working build and dispatch yard, so we do not offer walk-in sales or collections — every confirmed order is delivered by insured freight to the address agreed with you.

What if my trailer is damaged in transit?

Inspect the trailer with the driver at handover and report any damage or missing items within 7 days, with photos, to sales@doritrailers.co.za or on WhatsApp. We handle the freight insurance claim from there — see the Shipping Policy.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

Orders are billed by official tax invoice and paid by EFT / bank transfer in South African Rand (ZAR). No card payment is taken online when you place an order at checkout.

Do I pay online when placing an order?

No payment is charged on the website when you click Place Order. You receive your order number immediately on-screen, and our team contacts you within 1-2 business days to confirm your build details, quote insured freight delivery, and send your official invoice.

Do you offer financing?

We do not provide in-house financing, but we can supply formal quotations and tax invoices that you may submit to your preferred finance institution.

How do I verify an invoice before paying?

Every official Dori Trailers invoice is sent from sales@doritrailers.co.za and quotes your order number. You can call +27 84 249 5194 during trading hours (Mon-Sat, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM SAST) at any time to verify banking details before making an EFT transfer.

Returns & Warranty

How do returns work?

You have 30 days from delivery to ask for a change-of-mind return on eligible stock items. You arrange and pay return transport for change-of-mind returns; where goods are faulty, damaged, incomplete or not as ordered, we arrange and pay the return transport. Custom and made-to-order builds are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

How long does a refund take?

Approved refunds are paid within 14 business days, counted from the later of our written approval of the return or claim and the returned trailer arriving back with us. Statutory deadlines come first: an ECTA cooling-off refund is due within 30 days of cancellation, and a qualifying CPA direct-marketing refund within 15 business days.

What warranty do trailers carry?

Every trailer carries a 12-month structural warranty on the chassis and bodywork, as set out in the Return & Refund Policy. Equipment installed in the build is covered by its own manufacturer terms where these apply.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Contact us with your order number and photos of the issue. We arrange an assessment and, where the claim is approved, safe return transport. Details are in the Return & Refund Policy.

Maintenance

What maintenance do Dori trailers need?

Regular checks of tyres, brakes, lights, wheel bearings, and chassis are recommended. Refrigerated trailers also require periodic compressor servicing.

Do you sell spare parts?

Yes. We stock common spare parts and can source components for the equipment fitted in our trailers. Contact support for assistance.

Support

How quickly do you reply?

Our sales and support team replies within 1-2 business days, Mon-Sat, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM SAST. Call +27 84 249 5194 for anything urgent during those hours.

How do I check on my order?

Every order is confirmed by email with an order number. The Track Your Order page explains how build, dispatch and freight updates reach you, and how to request a status update at any time.
