DoriTrailers

Privacy Policy

How Dori Trailers collects, uses and protects your personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Last updated 2 October 2026

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to quote, sell, build and deliver your trailer:

  • Contact details: name, email address and phone number.
  • Delivery and billing addresses when you place an order.
  • Order details: the products, quantities and notes you submit at checkout.
  • Messages you send through our contact, quote or newsletter forms.
  • Website usage: pages viewed, device type and approximate location, collected through Google Analytics. This does not identify you by name.

We do not collect or store payment card details on this website. Orders placed at checkout are reviewed by our team and invoiced directly for EFT / bank transfer.

How we use it

  • To prepare quotes, process orders and arrange delivery.
  • To contact you about your order, build progress and after-sales support.
  • To send workshop updates, only if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Sharing your information

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, such as delivery partners and our website and database hosts, and only as far as they need it to do that work, or where the law requires us to.

Keeping it safe

Your information is stored on secured, access-controlled systems and sent over encrypted connections. We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and other information only for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email sales@doritrailers.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
