Gardening Tipping Trailer (Model 61002)

Model 61002 is the full garden-service rig: an 8x5 tandem-axle hydraulic tipper with a 2 000 kg ATM that carries a ride-on mower, all the tools, the fuel and the green waste in one load, and then tips the waste out without anyone handling it twice.

The mower box is the feature that sells this model. A 3 ft high x 2 ft long x 5 ft wide enclosed box with a lift-up door on gas struts, flush locks and padlock tabs, two internal shelves, solid panel sidewalls with rear barn doors and a full-size side toolbox gives the mower and equipment a weatherproof, lockable home with room left over for fuel, oil, line trimmer and hand tools. Two jerry can holders are fitted so fuel is carried upright and outside the tool area.

The tipper body itself is a full checker-plate box with 15 inch high sides, drop-down front and rear tailgates, full side steps and straight tie-down rails all round. A heavy-duty hydraulic ram, driven by a 12 V tipper motor, battery and cable remote housed in a drawbar-mounted toolbox, tips the load - grass, clippings, soil, branches, paving sand - without leaving the driver's seat or requiring a second person.

Running gear matches the daily-work duty: hydraulic brakes on the front axle, rocker roller suspension, 40 mm square axles and a reinforced 1 800 mm drawbar, with new 14 inch Sunraysia wheels and new light-truck tyres, a spare wheel and a jockey wheel. A pair of 5 ft slide-under checker-plate ramps loads the mower or a barrow without lifting, and the LED lighting makes early-morning starts on public roads safe.
