Product overview

Model 28082 is a purpose-built mobile window trailer: a 4.8 m long frame with a 2.1 m high stand, designed to carry window and door frames upright, in the orientation they are installed, without the damage that comes from laying glass units flat and stacking them.

For anyone in the window and glazing trade, this is the trailer that answers a specific problem. Frames and sealed glass units cannot be carried on a flat deck without risk: they flex, they scratch, and aluminium frames bend when they are loaded on their side. A purpose-built upright stand with the frames cradled in position protects the product, speeds up loading, and lets one person deliver a house's worth of windows in a single trip instead of several.

The trailer is built in South Africa, finished in zinc primer with a grey ripple topcoat, and runs on new Sunraysia rims with a jockey wheel for hand positioning. LED lighting keeps it visible on the road, and the trailer is supplied compliant for road use. The 4.8 m bed and 2.1 m stand height suit standard residential and commercial window and door units, including large sliding doors when they are carried at an angle.

The stand can be loaded and unloaded from the rear, with the frames tied down to the structure during transport. Loading height stays manageable because the bed sits at a low height, so the frames do not have to be lifted over a high rail - a detail that matters when you are moving units all day with two people.

Typical buyers are window and door manufacturers, glazing installers, aluminium fabricators, building suppliers, and builders who install their own glazing rather than sub-contracting delivery.
