Model 22071 is a KB180 tractor-mounted rotary slasher: a galvanised body with front and rear side chains, a 1 789 mm cutting width, a 540 r/min PTO drive and two blades, rated for tractors from 60 to 90 HP.

This is the standard implement for keeping grazing, orchards, vineyards, roadsides and fallow land under control. The rotary action takes grass, weeds and light brush down to a manageable height at a working width that suits a mid-range tractor, and the 540 r/min PTO drive is the standard coupling for that class of machine, so it hooks up to the tractor already in the yard.

The galvanised body is the specification that makes it last: slashers work in wet grass and are often stored outdoors, and a galvanised deck and frame resist corrosion at the seams where a painted deck rusts first.
