Portable Plastic Toilet

This is the standard portable plastic toilet: a lightweight, moulded cubicle with a blue door on a grey body, a ventilated roof and a simple, reliable waste container. It is the unit that most South African sites, farms and events actually buy, because it costs little, weighs little and does the job without maintenance.

At roughly the weight of two full bags of cement, it can be offloaded and repositioned by two people, or moved on a bakkie, trailer or pallet. There is nothing to connect, nothing to prime and nothing electrical - the unit works wherever it is placed, which makes it the practical choice for remote sites, weekend events, farm camps and construction crews working away from a building.

The cubicle is ventilated at roof level so air moves continuously and heat does not build up inside, and the door latches closed with a lockable slide so the unit can be secured when not in use. The floor is a sealed non-slip surface and the interior surfaces are smooth, so a service visit is a hose-down and a container swap rather than a repair job. The moulded construction resists rot and rust and stands up to sun, rain and dust.

Standard units ship with a removable waste container and cover, a moulded seat, a paper holder and anchor points for windy locations. Units can be supplied singly, or in site quantities with a service rotation so one container is always in place while another is being emptied.

For hygiene-critical uses, the variant with a built-in hand basin (listed separately) adds a pumped hand-wash basin inside the cubicle. This standard model remains the most cost-effective option per unit for general site and event use.
