3.4m Used Catering Food Trailer

This pre-owned 3.4m catering trailer gives a caterer a full-size, event-ready unit at a used price. It is the same working length and layout as our new 3.4m catering trailer - a long lift-up serving hatch, a stainless work run, a prep side and a side entry door - on braked tandem running gear, finished in its original red and orange colours.

Used catering trailers in this size are rare, because the units that survive a season of event work tend to stay in service. This one came back to us from a catering operator who moved up to a larger unit, which means the layout was proven in real service before it was listed: the hatch geometry works, the work run is the right height for standing work, and the equipment clearances match what most caterers actually carry.

The trailer has been through our workshop. Chassis, drawbar and cross members are inspected for cracks, corrosion and previous repairs; wheel bearings are inspected and repacked or replaced; brakes are stripped, adjusted and function-tested; the coupling, safety chain and jockey wheel are proved; all 12 V and 220 V circuits and lamps are tested against a tow vehicle; and the interior is cleaned, stripped back and resealed where needed. Defects we find are repaired, and anything cosmetic is disclosed with photographs in the listing before you pay.

Because the unit is used, it is sold as inspected and described. If you want it to match your brand, we can repaint or re-wrap the body, replace the counter and splashback, or add extraction, fridges and gas points before it leaves the yard - quoted and scheduled with the build rather than as separate jobs later.

It suits caterers, church and community kitchens, sports clubs, and any operator with events already booked who cannot wait four to six weeks for a new build.
