Plant Machinery Trailer (Model 21121)

Model 21121 is an 8x5 tandem heavy-duty plant and machinery trailer with a 6 ft two-piece drop-down mesh ramp: the ramp splits in half so it can be folded or used in stages, which makes it practical for machines with a low ground clearance as well as for loading by hand.

The trailer is built for the way plant actually arrives on site - driving onto the deck on its own power. Full checker plate covers the floor, sides and guards, the drawbar is heavy duty and reinforced, and there are drop-down stabilising legs at the rear so the trailer does not nose up while a machine is on the ramp. A front stop bar gives a machine something to push against and marks the correct loading position, and dedicated tie-down points let you chain a machine down properly rather than relying on rope.

Braking is the part that matters with machinery on board: four-wheel electric brakes with a break-safe unit, on rocker roller suspension and new Sunraysia rims with brand-new light-truck tyres. A loaded plant trailer has a high centre of gravity and a short wheelbase relative to a truck, and electric brakes on all four wheels are what make it stop predictably and legally.

The lighting package is 12 V LED, and the trailer is finished for outdoor commercial work - checker plate where machines contact, paint where they do not. It is a straightforward, repairable trailer: the ramps, legs, stop bar and tie-down points are all bolt-on or welded components that can be replaced individually rather than condemning the deck.
