2.8m Used Mobile Food Trailer

This is a pre-owned 2.8m enclosed food trailer at roughly two thirds of the price of an equivalent new build - the fastest and cheapest way onto a trading site for a vendor who needs a working unit now rather than a four-to-six week build slot.

The trailer carries the same core layout as our new 2.8m unit: an enclosed insulated body, a lift-up serving hatch with a stainless counter, a side access door for loading, and tandem running gear with a braked axle. There is a work run along one wall, an equipment bay for a fridge or freezer and overhead storage.

Before it is listed, the unit goes through our workshop: chassis and drawbar are checked for cracks and corrosion, wheel bearings are inspected and repacked or replaced, the coupling and safety chain are tested, brakes are adjusted, lights and wiring are proved against a tow vehicle, and the body is cleaned and the interior stripped back to a food-safe finish. Anything found during that inspection is repaired or disclosed to you in writing, with photographs, before you pay.

Because it is a used unit, it is sold as inspected and described rather than as a new build: cosmetic marks in the paintwork and panelling are expected and are shown in the listing photos. Mechanical and structural faults identified by our inspection are corrected first; the 12-month structural warranty applies to the chassis and bodywork as it does to our new trailers.
