Flat Top Tipper (Model 100202)

Model 100202 is a 10x6 heavy-duty hydraulic flat tipper: a 3500 kg GVM tipping deck with removable 18 inch checker-plate sides, a 3 ft removable headboard and 9 ft slide-out checker-plate ramps. It is the trailer you buy when you need to tip bulk loads on Monday and carry long, flat or wheeled loads on the deck on Tuesday.

Because the sides and headboard lift off, the same trailer works as a flat deck for pallets, machinery, sheet goods and steel, and then goes back to a bulk tipper with a pair of panels when the next load is sand or rubble. That flexibility is worth more than a slightly lower purchase price on a fixed-side tipper: it removes the need for a second trailer.

The tipper is hydraulically driven with a 12 V motor, battery and cable remote, all mounted on the trailer, so it tips without a tractor or external hydraulics. Running gear is heavy-duty throughout: 50 mm parallel axles on rocker roller suspension, 10 inch electric brakes, a brake-away unit, and new Sunraysia rims with new light-truck tyres. A 3 500 kg GVM is the practical ceiling for a bakkie-towable trailer, and this unit is built to work at it rather than occasionally visit it.

The body is full checker plate with tie rails all around, a drop-down tailgate, and slide-out ramps that store under the deck. Loading points and rails are positioned for straps and chains, not just rope, and the deck is finished to take shovel and bucket contact without tearing.

It is a working trailer for builders, landscapers, farmers and hire fleets - and it is specified so a single operator can load, move, tip and return without help.
