Tipping Trailer (Model 26781)

Model 26781 is a 12x6 tandem-axle hydraulic tipper with a 3500 kg ATM - one of the largest tipping trailers in the range and the one that replaces a truck tipper for many operators. Load it with a machine, tip it with a remote, and drive away empty: no shovelling, no crew standing around waiting to unload by hand.

The hydraulic tipping ram is driven by a motor, battery and cable remote housed in a drawbar-mounted toolbox, which means the entire tipping system travels with the trailer and needs no external hydraulics or a tractor to power it. That is the difference between a tipper that gets used every day and one that only works when the right machine is available.

The body is a full checker-plate box with 15 inch high sides, drop-down front and rear tailgates, full side steps and straight tie-down rails all around. At 12 ft long and 6 ft wide it carries a genuine volume of sand, stone, rubble, soil, green waste, firewood or agricultural produce, and the checker plate floor takes shovel and bucket wear without holing.

Running gear is built for that load: four-wheel electric brakes, an electrical breakaway safe unit, heavy-duty rocker roller suspension and 50 mm square axles, on new 14 inch Sunraysia wheels with new light-truck tyres. A reinforced 1 500 mm drawbar carries the tipper box, the toolbox and the spare wheel, and a jockey wheel is included for positioning.

A pair of 6 ft slide-under grid-mesh ramps completes the package, so the same trailer can load a ride-on mower, a quad or a small machine onto the deck as well as tip loose material off it. That combination of tipper and ramp loading is what makes it the go-to trailer for landscaping, rubble removal, farming and municipal grounds work.
