Galvanised Flat Top Trailer (Model 99671)

Model 99671 is a 10x7 tandem-axle flat-top trailer with a 3500 kg ATM and a fully galvanised finish, built to carry plant, building material and farm loads on a deck that can be reconfigured in minutes. The sides and tailgate drop or lift off entirely, so the same trailer carries loose bulk with the sides up and oversized loads on a flat deck with them off.

The running gear is commercial from top to bottom: four-wheel electric brakes with an electrical breakaway unit, heavy-duty rocker roller suspension, 50 mm square axles and new 16 inch six-stud Landcruiser-style wheels with new light-truck tyres. That specification is what makes a 3500 kg trailer safe to tow with a load on - the brakes are doing the stopping, and the breakaway unit applies them if the trailer ever separates from the tow vehicle.

The deck is checker plate, with 12 inch removable drop-down sides and a matching tailgate, a 1 200 mm high removable headboard, and tie-down rails on the sides beneath the tray so straps and chains are anchored to the frame rather than to the panels. A 9 ft ramp set slides under the deck for loading wheeled or skid-mounted equipment, and a reinforced 1 500 mm drawbar gives the trailer stable tracking and room for the spare wheel and jockey wheel.

Galvanising is the reason this model holds its value: the chassis, deck framing and panels are protected against rust instead of relying on paint, which matters for trailers used with fertiliser, manure, salt-laden coastal air or wet building materials. Lighting is 12 V LED with side clearance markers.

Typical uses include plant hire, agriculture, building material delivery, steel and pipe transport, and any operation that needs a large deck with the option of sides - and that cannot afford a week of downtime while a painted trailer comes back from the blasters.
