Galvanized Trailer (Model 23647)

Model 23647 is the galvanised 8x5 box trailer for buyers who keep equipment outdoors or work in coastal, wet or fertiliser-heavy conditions. Instead of a painted finish that has to be touched up where it chips, the trailer is built from galvanised material with a checker-plate body, so rust has far less to work with over years of standing in the rain.

At 750 kg ATM on a single axle it sits in the light, easy-towing bracket - comfortable behind a 1.6 litre vehicle, simple to move around a yard by hand, and cheap to run and maintain. A 1300 mm drawbar keeps the trailer tracking properly at speed and gives enough room on the A-frame for a jerry can or tool box.

Two features make it more useful than a plain box. The first is a manual tilt function with slam catches on the drawbar: unlatch, tip the body, and the trailer dumps loose material - soil, sand, compost, rubble - instead of you shovelling it out. The second is a 5 ft drop-down grid-mesh ramp, which turns the trailer into a loader for wheelbarrows, mowers, quad bikes and trolleys. A 3 ft galvanised cage adds volume for light loads.

The body carries 12 inch high sides, a drop-down front tailgate, tie-down rails all around, and corner side steps built into the guards so you can climb in and out safely. It runs on new 14 inch Sunraysia wheels with new tyres, 12 V LED lights and a 7-pin plug, and it ships with a spare wheel and a free 6 inch jockey wheel.
