Heavy Duty Box Trailer (Model 48022)

Model 48022 is the compact commercial box trailer: a 1.8 m x 1.2 m single-axle unit with a 750 kg ATM, checker-plate floor, 12 inch smooth sides and a 3 ft heavy-duty cage on top. Because it is only 1.2 m wide it tows behind almost anything, fits through a standard gate and takes up a corner of a yard or garage rather than a parking bay. The body is built commercial rather than domestic: a checker-plate floor that does not split or rot when gravel and rubble are shovelled out of it, drop-down front and rear tailgates so long material can be carried flat, and tie-down rails on the sides into the guards for straps and rope. A 1 200 mm drawbar gives it stable tracking, and the 3 ft heavy-duty cage adds useful volume for light, bulky cargo - cardboard, garden refuse, insulation, crates.

It runs on new 14 inch Sunraysia wheels with new tyres, 12 V LED lighting, a 7-pin plug and safety chains, and it ships with a spare wheel and a jockey wheel included. The painted cage and body are primed and finished for outdoor standing, and every weld is a full weld rather than a tack, which is what stops a small box trailer from racking out of square when it is loaded unevenly.
